At least five people were killed in flooding caused by rain and winds from Tropical Storm Josie in the Nadi area. The storm has moved away from Fiji; however, impacts from flooding is overwhelming. Media sources report that approximately 1,873 people were evacuated from the Western Division, which includes Nadi, during the storm, and an unspecified number of these residents remain in evacuation centers. Unspecified water and power outages are also still in effect in some areas. Homes were flooded, and roads connecting to the city centers and essential services were also closed by flood waters. People's lives yet again have been disrupted, you can make a difference by extending a helping hand.
